There’s an old proverb that tells the story of a man who, during a flood that was ravaging his home, ended up sitting on the roof of his house, praying for help. Someone in a row boat came along and said “get in!” but the man on the roof said “No, I’m praying for help.” A person in a motorboat then came by and said “get in,” but the man on the roof again said “no, I’m praying for help. I’m sure I’ll be just fine.” Finally, a rescue team in a helicopter came along, lowered a rope, and said “grab hold and we’ll lift you into the helicopter.” But again, the man on the roof replied, “No thanks. I’m praying for help.”
The man on the roof was eventually overcome by the rising water, and he drowned. When he met God, he asked Him, “why did you not answer my prayer and help me off of the roof?” And God said “well, I sent a rowboat, a motorboat, and a helicopter to save you, but you refused to take their offers of help.”
Our Predictive Analysis process can be thought of as a row boat, a motorboat, or a helicopter, designed to rescue you from the inevitable financial and life changing impacts that come from both major and minor disasters to your property. Unfortunately, like the man on the roof, we avoid investigating what could literally be lifesaving solutions that are right in front of us. It’s like life insurance, I suppose, although we do know that we are all here for but a short time, and that life insurance WILL be needed at some point. In the case of our Strata Managed homes, there are sufficient examples of homeowners who have had to somehow find thousands of unplanned dollars due to unexpected and unplanned for issues.
At CSFTS, our rowboats, motorboats and helicopters are ready to help you, and we invite you to at least hear us out regarding the ideas and processes that will show you how to avoid the impacts from that future unforeseen event to your home.
