I don’t know about you, but whenever I’ve been in the market for a new home, my considerations for a Condo or Strata Managed home always include the monthly Strata fee. How much is it? What does it include? Where’s the value? But the key to entering into a Strata agreement as far as fees go, is that if they charge them, then I must pay them. It’s not, as someone once quipped about the Ten Commandments, a suggestion. Living in a Strata home means living within a regulated set of policies, including the Strata fee component. Therefore when you sign the agreement, you’re agreeing to pay the fees.
